Born and raised in Stockholm. Did not really know what I wanted to study... but i took a bachelors degree in biomedical laboratory science and just in case, I also studied history of arts and history if ideas at Stockholm University. It turned out to be much easier to get a job as a BMA, so I got my first job at Karolinska Institutet and have worked in different labs there until 2012 when I joined Jorge Ruas Lab. I have never regretted my choice.
